The Denali Grizzly Bear is located on the Parks Highway at the south entrance to Denali National Park. It is close to many fine restaurants, river raft tours, hiking trails, helicopter and airplane flights, and trail rides. Let our tour desk book these activities for you. The Denali Park Visitors Access Center and shuttle bus service is only 6 miles away. Sorry, we do not provide transportation. If you are reserving an RV site, we will need to know the overall length of your vehicle, number of people, if you desire an electric/water hookup or a dry site (sorry, no pull-throughs or sewer hookups). We do have a pull through sewer dump and potable water fill up locations available on the premises. Tent sites on the river are "walk-in" sites (vehicle parking nearby).

The fact that they are RVers themselves is evident, from the layout of the level, shaded, gravel sites and sanitary dump station, to the immaculately clean restrooms, showers and public room. Twenty-six varieties of small birds have been identified by guests and numerous wildflowers abound all within the park. Johnson Lake, located on state park land, lies directly across Crooked Creek road and offers one an easy walk and solitude to fish for stocked rainbow trout, or view the lake's waterfowl and wildlife. Many guests enjoy evening and morning hours observing the beaver activity around the lake's beaver house. Moose are frequent visitors to the RV park so even relaxing around your recreational vehicle can be a wildlife experience.
