Beaver Pines Campground
Located on Route 198, Woodstock, Ct., Beaver Pines is a small family owned campground with large beautiful campsites surrounded by Nipmuck State Forest. We offer daily, weekly and seasonal rates. Controlled pets are always welcome. The area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking, so take advantage of the opportunity while you are visiting. If fishing is more your style, try for some Bass or Trout on area lakes. And don't forget to bring your canoe or kayak along to get the most enjoyment out of your time on the water. Afterwards you can relax by a campfire. Campsites range from remote sites for tent lovers to level sites with electric and water for camptrailers. Seasonal sites offer telephone service and cable tv as well.

Black Rock State Park
Black Rock offers excellent swimming, hiking, scenic views, and Indian legend all tucked into the scenic rolling hills of the Western Highlands. There are 96 sites in a wooded setting that are available in Black Rock Campground. The camping season begins in mid-April and ends September 30. Black Rock is a designated Trout Park. Excellent hiking is available on the Mattatuck Trail from the Grey Stone section of Waterbury to the Wigwam Reservoir in Morris. This trail offers a scenic view of the Naugatuck Valley, highlighting Black Rock. There are many side trails where one can see Black Rock Lake, Black Rock Pond, mature forests and meadows. Hikes can be from 30 minutes to all day. Hiking trails are maintained in cooperation with the Connecticut Forest and Park Association, which provides volunteer assistance.

Countryside Campground
Established twenty-three years ago in Griswold, Connecticut, the Countryside Campground is known for quiet, family camping. Founded by the Mackin Family, the original purpose of the campground was to provide additional income while maximizing the potential of the beautiful property surrounding our home. With limited funds provided by the bank, our family established roads and the first twelve campsites. As we built our clientele, and increasing monies became available, we invested in expanding a little at a time. We had a family of six. Everyone worked hard, doing what we could with only the bare necessities. There were times when a toboggan was used to haul dirt and garbage cans were filled to tote leaves. We all had pride in our land and growing business. Today, as always, we are still very much involved in the building and maintenance of our "little piece of heaven" We pride ourselves on clean bath houses and meticulously maintained grounds. After all these years, it's still a family business.

All Sites have water and electricity. Limited Pull-through sites. Limited 50 amp sites. Lengths of sites varies up to a 45' RV with tow and slides. All of the "Full-Service Sites" includes water, sewer, 30 amp electricity, cable TV, fireplace, picnic table and cement patio. Wooded Sites- these are mainly for small trailers, pop-ups and tents.
