Bonnie & Clyde Trade Days & RV Park

Covering 130 acres in the scenic piney woods of north Louisiana, Bonnie & Clyde Trade Days is Louisiana's ultimate outdoor bargain shopping experience! Opened in September 1990, the market derived its name from the notorious outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow who met their demise nearby in 1934. Always held on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before the third Monday of every month, the market draws thousands of shoppers and averages well over 200 vendors selling everything from pets to plants to antiques to crafts. Free shopper shuttles run from the parking area to the trade grounds and courtesy rest areas are located throughout the grounds for shoppers' convenience. Numerous concessions serving a delicious assortment of food specialties are available, including Pointe Barrow Cafe overlooking beautiful Bonnie's Bay. RV parking is available for both shoppers and vendors. There is no admission charge. Parking is just $3 per vehicle.

Chemin-A-Haut State Park

This 503-acre park near the Louisiana-Arkansas state line is situated on a high bluff overlooking Bayou Bartholomew and is a natural paradise for lovers of unspoiled beauty. Chemin-A-Haut is French for "high road," which describes an old trail used by the Native Americans for their seasonal migrations. It is easy to imagine ancient tribesmen camping in this beautiful setting among towering virgin pines, with soft sounds of water rippling by to lull them into restful sleep. Present-day visitors can camp like the Native Americans, but with many more modern conveniences. They need not, for example, sleep on the ground, or bathe and wash their clothes in Bayou Bartholomew or nearby Bayou Chemin-A-Haut. There are 26 campsites at the park, each including water and electricity. Located nearby is a dump station and a comfort station with showers and restroom facilities. A rally camping area is also available for groups.
