Anaheim RV Parks, Disneyland

State Parks and Campgrounds---State Tourist Travel Information

The kids in the backseat are chanting for Disneyland, or perhaps you and your spouse want to relive that romantic moment of grasping hands in terror at the lip of Splash Mountain. Well, now Disneyland has more to offer than ever before with its new amusement park California Adventure. California Adventure is a slightly different flavor from Disneyland, with a sweeping roller coaster and a terribly wet rapids ride. Don’t stop with Disneyland, though, Anaheim has a lot more to offer than just Mickey Mouse.

For example, have you ever considered Knott’s Berry Farm? It features many of the same adventures as Disneyland – a rapids ride, a log ride over a waterfall, roller coasters – in a more relaxed atmosphere. It’s all the fun without the hype. And it would really be a shame to make it all the way down to Los Angeles without hitting up Universal Studios Hollywood. If you’re still in the mood for a ride, Universal Studio’s Jurassic Park ride scares the pants off Splash Mountain. Or, if you’re simply interested in special effects, there are plenty of great shows and displays going on all day.

And if you’re brave enough to tackle the aggressive roads, you have to visit the famous neighborhoods like Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Just gazing at those magnificent homes on the hills and seeing that magnificent view of the valley will give you an idea of what really drives ambitions in Hollywood. Too bad they’re fixed in one spot and can’t explore the country like you can—as great as their view is, it never changes!
